Just learned of the following through a science writers group I follow:

Andre Geim, one of this week's Nobel Laureates in physics, has an A+ sense of humor. In 2001 he named his hamster as co-author of a research paper in the journal Physica B. (It's noted under "trivia" in his Wikipedia entry.) The paper itself is at:
