Dear colleagues,

The MIT Publishing Bureau invites you to join us for three  
Communications Workshops on email marketing and social media. These  
sessions will be presented by MIT communications staff. Feel free to  
forward this invitation to others at MIT who may be interested in  
these topics.

Email Marketing
Thursday, October 15
9 a.m.-noon
Register online by October 13
Topics include incorporating email marketing into your overall  
communications plan, measuring and analyzing results, email sending  
options, MIT policies and guidelines, and examples of email marketing  
at MIT.

Social Media
Thursday, October 22
9 a.m.-noon
Register online by October 20
Topics include an overview of the history and uses of social media,  
the role of social media in your communications, building community on  
your site, and examples of social media at MIT.

How-To's on Email Marketing and Social Media
Wednesday, October 28
1-4 p.m.
Register online by October 26
Demonstrations include creating an HTML email, managing a Mailman  
distribution list, promoting events through Facebook, and creating and  
managing a Twitter account.
