Candace Thille, Director of the Open Learning Initiative (OLI 
<http://oli.web.cmu.edu/openlearning/> ) at Carnegie Mellon University, 
will be speaking about "how OLI uses the web to deliver online 
instruction that instantiates course designs based on research from the 
learning sciences and how the learning environments, in turn, support 
ongoing research."

This event will be of interest to anyone engaged in teaching and 
learning especially in regards to learning innovations in digital arenas.
