Hi Everyone,
Amy Tarr asked me to pass this along.
Thanks
Laurie
Hello all,
I wanted to let the group know that I left my job as Director of
Public Programs at the Center for International Studies earlier this
year to start Tarr Communications, a freelance editorial consulting
business.
As it happens, I've done freelance work for quite a while-writing and
editing everything from Web content, promotional materials and
reports to newsletters and press releases. Since leaving MIT, I've
done work for the Institute as well as for several major law firms.
I'm usually available to take on assignments, so please feel free to
be in touch in the coming months if your group needs help with a
print or Web project (including preparations for MIT's 150th
anniversary, in 2011). I'm using this email address for business with
MIT, at least for the time being; I'll be glad to forward my resume
and samples to you.
I'm also on the lookout for that rare part-time communications/
project management job, in case you spot something interesting.
Have a good summer, everyone.
All best,
Amy
