[Editors] Global MIT website is now live: request for participation

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the public launch of Global MIT, a website and 
database of all MIT international and global activities in areas including 
research, education, internships, and community and service opportunities. 
The URL for Global MIT is <http://global.mit.edu/> and it is also linked 
from the MIT home page below 'About MIT.'

We would like to ask for your participation and assistance in updating the 
database to include activities with which you or your group may be 
involved.  We already have over 700 entries in the database, but we are 
certain that you will have additions and corrections to contribute. Members 
of the MIT community can add and edit entries in the database using 
certificates. To add a new record, just click on the "Add info" link on the 
top page, or you may also edit any record while viewing it. All changes 
will be reviewed by the Global MIT editors prior to posting.

MIT's enormous global impact. If you have any questions, or suggestions for
