Hi all,
Here's a query that came to us via the arts web site; I figured that
Editor's Group would be a source of interesting and creative ideas
for this!
Cheers,
Mary

>Hi -- I am a segment producer for a new show on the Home and Garden
>network called "Look What I Did!" and we would like to come to the
>Boston area to shoot within the next month or so. We're interested
>in letting local artists and residents know that we are looking for
>people's amazing home projects to feature on our show. I was
>wondering if you might be able to mention something in your
>newsletter or send something out to the artists in your organization
>about our show. I'd also welcome any thoughts or suggestions of some
>artists who may have something amazing to showcase that they have
>done to their home. "Look What I Did!" is a brand new,
>fast-paced, upbeat 30-minute show that we are producing for the Home
>and Garden Network (HGTV) that will premiere this summer. It will
>profile creative, outgoing and fun individuals who have done
>something amazing, unique, and artistic to their home environment
>with little help from professionals. This show focuses on people who
>hav!
> e transformed a room or area of their house from an ordinary space
>to an extraordinary one. We've found that getting the word out to
>local newspapers, homeowners, neighborhood associations, arts
>organizations and arts councils has been very helpful in finding
>people's amazing home projects. We are currently seeking
>participants for our first season. Casting a show like this is
>really a word-of-mouth type of search and I hope that with your
>help, I can find some homeowners who have something amazing to
>showcase. Candidates must be high energy and would be comfortable
>showing us their home and telling us how they made the
>transformation. We would encourage those interested to submit as
>soon as possible, since our shoot dates are fast approaching. Thank
>you so much for your time and please do not hesitate to let me know
>if you have any questions. Please pass this information along to
>anyone you think might be interested. Below, I've copied information
>from our flyer about !
> the show. Thanks! Alana Kerbein, Segment Producer HGTV's "Loo!
