Editorial Director/Account Manager-Technology Publications
 
Leading custom publishing company seeks an editorial director to develop
strategy and lead creative team for business-to-business technology
publications in print and electronic media. Ideal candidate will have a
masters degree in journalism, marketing or related field and 10+ years
of experience in various facets of marketing communications & publishing
in the area of technology, including: Leadership editorial position with
technology publication, experience in the marketing department of a
large technology company, experience in a creative agency environment
working on technology accounts, demonstrated ability to develop and
execute integrated marketing communications strategies for Fortune
500-level company and possess current and relevant contacts with top
technology firms as well as writer contacts in the technology industry.
Responsible for planning & overseeing three annual issues of custom B2B
technology magazine in print and electronic formats, supervise creative
& editorial staff for custom magazine and other communication vehicles.
Represent the magazine at client and industry functions around the
world, expand client work to include case studies, success stories,
e-publications, Web indexing and other relevant media, lead strategic
planning and client presentations, and develop related technology
