[Editors] copy editor for thesis

Dear gang:

A relative of one of our staff is seeking an experienced editor to 
copy edit her master's thesis (I am told it focuses race and 
education, based on personal experiences with METCO program). Does 
anyone:

1. Know any editors she could contact?
2. Have a rough idea of how much this costs? I've done this pro bono 
for some students - I keep saying 'never again' but I'm a sucker for 
poor, sad-looking students -  and wonder what it would have been 
worth. Perhaps more than the 50 cents per page I got for typing 
papers in college on my manual Smith Corona ...
