regarding new and upcoming software products and services.

1. Recent Releases

VPN 4.9.0.1 (00100) - [Mac]  - January 29, 2008

2. Software Release Projects Underway
------------------------------------------------------
Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), and Leopard compatible applications such as  
SAPgui 7.10 and TSM 5.5 are a sample of projects currently underway.

3. Volume & Site License Software Update
-------------------------------------------------------
IS&T has successfully negotiated a license with SPSS.  Details on  
purchasing SPSS for your department or individual users will be  
available from the VSLS site within the next few weeks.  We have also  
taken over administration of the Autodesk license.  Faculty and staff  
can now request Autodesk products such as AutoCAD 2008 through VSLS:

4.  Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
IS&T recommends users configure their Windows machines to use MIT's  
Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS) for critical patches and  
service pack deployment.

your machine to subscribe to WAUS, please visit:

Highlights for High School
 Since the launch of Highlights for High School, many of you have requested downloadable versions of the video clips on the site.

 Video lectures are in the RealOnePlayer format with video indices and captions. A selection of AP Physics lectures are also available in MP4 format, but without indices or captions. Thanks for the feedback!
