Software Release Projects Underway ------------------------------------------------------ Mobile Devices, FileMaker Pro 9 and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) are a small sampling of current software release projects underway. Volume & Site License Software Update ------------------------------------------------------- Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional is now available for download. Please only order licenses for machines on which you will actually use Acrobat Pro as we have a limited number of licenses available for MIT. For more information on alternatives to Acrobat Pro and how to obtain, please go to the following site: http://itinfo.mit.edu/article.php?id=8620 We are currently processing orders for FileMaker 9 (Professional, Professional Advanced, Server, and Server Advanced). An order processing fee of $100 now applies to all new FileMaker 9 departmental orders regardless of how many licenses you order. This fee covers the costs associated with distributing FileMaker 9. License costs are still paid for by IS&T. As a comparison, the academic pricing for a single FileMaker Pro 9 license is $160 if purchased from GovConnection.
