New OCW Resource: Highlights for High School
Now high school students and teachers can easily find science and math resources to help them prepare for their classes, as well as material designed to inspire and excite the next generation of scientists and engineers.
Highlights for High School (http://ocw.mit.edu/highschool) organizes thousands of MIT introductory course materials into a format that is more accessible for high school students and teachers. The site also features more than 2,600 video and audio clips, animations, lecture notes and assignments from actual MIT courses and aligns them to the Advanced Placement topics in Biology, Calculus and Physics.
Highlights for High School (http://ocw.mit.edu/highschool) also provides a sampling of original and inspiring MIT student-developed courses such as Audio and Speaker Electronics (http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/hs/ase/ase/index.htm) and Guitar Building (http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/hs/gtb/gtb/index.htm).
