Recent Releases --------------------------------------------------------- The team has been busy working on high priority projects such as Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista in an effort to prepare the MIT community. Software Release Projects Underway ------------------------------------------------------ Internet Explorer 7, Windows Vista and Windows Defender are a small sampling of current software release projects underway. Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- IS&T recommends users configure their Windows machines to use MIT's Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS) for critical patches and service pack deployment. Important Note: Internet Explorer 7 will not be deployed by MIT WAUS (WSUS) until early January, 2007. However, patches for Internet Explorer 7 will be deployed via MIT WAUS immediately following the product release by Microsoft.
