Several Departments, Labs and Centers have reached out to the team requesting migration assistance. The Email Migration at MIT website, has been updated to include the material used for the Apple Mail, Outlook Express and Outlook 2003 quick start classes and is available for download: Did you know that webcasts that include step-by-step migration instructions are available for Outlook Express and Outlook 2003? What's New: --------------------------- Apple began shipping Intel-based Macintosh computers in early January; some applications that IS&T supports and distributes currently do not work on these Intel Macs: * MatLAB * SAPgui 6.30, 6.40 * Virex 7.7 * VPN client 4.8 * Virtual PC (part of Office 2004 Professional for Macintosh) IS&T is monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as information becomes available. We are moving forward with plans to add the Matlab Distributed Computing Toolbox (DCT) to the suite of toolboxes we offer, so if you are interested in using the DCT and Matlab Distributed Computing Engine, please send email to: . Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- We recommend users configure their Windows machines to use MIT's Windows Automatic Update Service (WAUS) for critical patches and service pack deployment.
