Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that, in anticipation of the Teaching
with Technology web site going live this week, I've converted our old
ed-tech at mit.edu email list into a Mailman list so that I can filter out
any spam that it may attract.

Mailman is an email list service offered by IS&T that allows automatic
spam filtering and archiving of the lists as well as customization by
list members. You DO NOT need to re-subscribe, but if you would like
to see your customization options go to:

http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/ed-tech

and first get your password by filling in the last field on the page
with your email address. You will then be taken to a page that will
allow you to get your password emailed to you. Once you've gotten
that, you can set your subscription options. If you do not change
anything here you should see no difference in behavior of the list.

Best,
-jean-
