Hi Haohao,
Thank you for your interest in using ECCO products in your work.
There will be a newer release, ECCO Version 4 Release 6 (V4r6), which will supersede ECCO V4r5. V4r6 covers the period from 1/1/1992 through 12/31/2025 and will be officially released through PO.DAAC. We are currently working to make the monthly-mean fields available on ECCO Drive at https://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/drive/files/Version4/Release6. The process of making them available on ECCO Drive taking longer than we originally planned, but please check back in a few weeks.
We also have plan to extend Cube92 to the present. The files will be available at the usual link: https://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/drive/files/ECCO2/cube92_latlon_quart_90S90N.
We are also planning to release a 1/3-degree product, ECCO Version 5 Release 1 (V5r1), which also covers the period from 1/1/1992 through 12/31/2025. Some of the files will also be available on ECCO Drive with a couple of months or so.
Best regards,
Ou Wang

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [ecco-support] Questions about ECCOv4r5 and ECCOCube92
Dear ECCO dataset team,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am Haohao Zhang from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am currently participating in a project focusing on the the evaluation of ocean heat content in reanalysis datasets with Chunxue Yang and Andrea Storto (CNR-ISMAR, Italy).
We would like to include the ECCO datasets (might be the ECCOv4r5 and ECCOCube92) in our work. We noted from the website that the temporal coverage for ECCOv4r5 currently ends in 2019, and ECCOcube92 extends to 2024. Therefore, I am writing to inquire about the latest status of these two datasets. If more recent updates are available, would it be possible for us to gain access to them?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Haohao
