One caveat:
The period of 1992-2017 is fully optimized
while year 2020-2024 is not optimized
(simply an iteration 0, ie,
By applying the climatological seasonal mean of previous adjustments to raw forcing).
Ou Wang is working on a fully optimized 1992-2024 state estimate
and it’s coming soon ...
