Hi Liao, ECCOv5-alpha is briefly described here
https://dspace.mit.edu/handle/1721.1/119821 <https://dspace.mit.edu/handle/1721.1/119821>
and we have started using it for some global studies, e.g.,
https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2019MS001888 <https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2019MS001888>
as well as for boundary conditoins for regional studies, e.g.,
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-018-05813-1 <https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-018-05813-1>
But it is not yet as well vetted nor adjusted as ECCOv4 is.
Cheers, Dimitris
