The angular velocity of Earth’s rotation is set to a constant value (=7.292115e-5 rad/s) in the ECCO model used to generate the OAM product on the IERS website.

Dear colleagues,
I am currently preparing an article on the climate variability of temperature and salinity of the Barents sea. As a result, both linear trends and periodic variability of these parameters are obtained. To identify the sources of such changes, I compare the values of the resulting variability in temperature and salinity with changes in the speed of rotation of the earth, and in particular with changes in the length of the day (LOD). But the value of LOD depends on the angular moments of the atmosphere and ocean AAM and OAM. On the IERS website (https://www.iers.org/IERS/EN/Home/home_node.html) the value of OAM  is calculated from the results of ECCO modeling (based on MITgcm).
 You could not tell how the earth's rotation speed is set in the ECCO model – as an average value or as a function that includes angular moments in particular AAM and OAM.
