Hello Guancheng,

Could you provide more details on the errors of salinity budget calculation?

As for accessing ECCO V4 Release 3’s web site (ftp://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/Version4/Release3/), what were the error messages? I wonder if there were firewall issues, since I am able to access the website.

Best regards,
Ou Wang

Subject: [ecco-support] Access to the ECCO2R3

Dear Sir/Madam,
Recently, i used the data from ECCO2-R2 to calculate the salinity budget in some areas, and do some research in the salinity tendency. First I want to thank you for introduction of calculating budget, which is very important of my work!
However, i find that the errors calculating the Salinity budget is considerable, and make some mistakes of tendency analysis. So i want to know how can i improve my analysis of error? Then, i hope that you could tell me another way to download your data of ECCOR3, because i cannot open your ftp website in our internet.
I would greatly appreciate that you could help me. Thank you for your reading!

Best regards,
Guancheng
