Dear Tao,
In general, ECCO V4 Release 3 output are monthly averages (ftp://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/Version4/Release3/nctiles_monthly). There are monthly snapshots (ftp://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/Version4/Release3/nctiles_monthly_snapshots/) and daily averages (ftp://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/Version4/Release3/nctiles_daily/) for few variables.
ECCO V4 does not have tides.
Best,
Ou Wang

Subject: [ecco-support] question about ecco
Dear Mr./Ms.
I am trying to use ecco data as the boundary conditions of my numerical model, but there is one thing I want to make sure. What is the time interval of the ecco_V4 data? Does the water level have tidal signals (maybe only a little)? Thanks a lot.
Tao
