[Dspace-general] Digital Repository Strategy Series

Dear DSpace Community,

 

NITLE is offering an upcoming online series called "Digital Repository
Strategy Series" as part of an online program, "Special Topics in
Information Services". This online series will start on March 26th, a
second session on April 2nd, and a final session on April 9th. All
sessions will start at 2:00 p.m. EDT. 

 

The three sessions that comprise the series include:

 

1. Current best practices in building repository services and in
reaching out to and involving the campus community, led by Pamela
Snelson, College Librarian, and Christopher Raab, Archives and Special
Collections Librarian, Franklin & Marshall College

2. Implementation case studies with a focus on technology choices, led
by Stacy Pennington, Associate Database Analyst, Rhodes College

<http://www.macalester.edu/>  (Digital Commons), and Scott Hamlin,
Director of Technology for Research and Instruction, Wheaton College

3. The relationship of digital repository efforts to campus mission and
other important contexts, including the current economic crisis, led by
Richard Fyffe, Rosenthal Librarian of the College, Grinnell College
