Not taken as such. It's information that I didn't possess, and as such  
I'm grateful for it. It makes a couple of things a bit clearer.

Has there been any output from this yet? Is the aim that output from  
these processes will be fed back to these mailing lists?

I guess my concern is that much of this effort will be focused on blue- 
sky "the future of DSpace"-type thinking, rather than the sort which  
aims to fix the real problems people are having with the software  
right now. The future needs to be looked to; the present shouldn't be  
neglected in order to do so. I will be very happy to know that this  
concern is unfounded.
