[Dspace-general] Dublin Core Creator / Author question.

Hi All,

I have a question about the dc.creator field and who or what it should
contain in relation to our scenario.

We have researchers who find artefacts or images to be digitised and
write the metadata for that item. The question is, should they be
considered the creator, or should the organisation, the Museum, be the
creator. If the museum is the creator, is there a Dublin core element or
dspace element that could give the researcher a credit for her work, and
also a reference to whom to go to for any questions about the item.

Also, has dc.author been deprecated, or is it the same as dc.creator?
