[Dspace-general] Images in E-mail messages

Dear All,

Is there a way to include images in the e-mails that dspace sends to the users when they complete
certain actions? For example, when they submit an item, Dspace sends an e-mail to the submitter
with the message included in the <dspace-dir>/config/emails/submit_archive file. However, I tried
to include an image (with HTML), but it was unsuccessful.

Has anybody else tried that? Any response could be appreciated.
