[Dspace-general] Document creation date

Hi Branko,

this happens because that specific checkbox controls 3 DC fields (as far as 
I know). These are:

  a.. date.issued
  b.. publisher
  c.. identifier.citation
This means that if you don't check it, you won't get either of these 3 
fields to fill in. What you can do is finish the submission and then go back 
to the editing of the record and create manually the field(s) that you are 
interested in. For more info you can check this page:

However, I would suggest that you add a publisher field as well, besides 
date.issued, to indicate who has created the digitized resource. For more 
info on that, you can check the DC Library Application Profile. But this is 
just how I perceive the definition of that field.
