Hi,

I'm trying to setup DSpace (recent cvs co) with Tomcat on Apache.

The two dspace .war files are registered ok, but when I try to go to
$myserver/dspace I get this error:

  log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.dspace.storage.rdbms.DatabaseManager).
  log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

This error message lead me to this discussion (dated 2005-04-28):

I hope I don't need to patch the base code. Perhaps this a misconfiguration
