[Dspace-general] DSUG Bergen Tutorial Topics

Dear All,

In preparation for the forthcoming DSUG Bergen, we are looking for
suggestions as to what people would most like to see covered as tutorial
topics.

There are two tutorial tracks planned, one technical and one
administrative.  At the moment, our proposals for topics are as follows:

Administrative
 - Managing collection structures; best practice guidelines
 - Licensing requirements and construction
 - User groups and authorisation policy making

Technical
 - Advanced configuration: LDAP, custom search indexing, etc.
 - Custom submission form writing
 - Add-On and patch writing
 - Backup procedures and disaster recovery (also planned as part of the
Break-Out sessions)

Your feedback would be most welcome.
