Colleagues,
The notice below may be of interest. Please feel free to pass it on to
individuals and groups who may be interested. Please note the December
7 deadline for applications for scholarship.
We hope to see many of you in Sydney for the DSpace Users Group Meeting
and the other events under the Open Repositories Forum which are being
held from Jan. 31 until Feb. 3.
Sydney is quite beautiful at that time of year. For our colleagues from
the northern hemisphere, this is an opportunity to come and enjoy the
wonderful Sydney summer while catching up on the exciting work by
colleagues from all over the world!
Regards
Fides

Subject: Scholarships available to attend Open Repositories 2006
The Australian Partnership for Sustainable Repositories is pleased to
announce that Hewlett-Packard has generously offered to sponsor two
participants from developing nations to attend the DSpace Users Group
and related events held as part of Open Repositories 2006 in Sydney from
the 31st January 2006. The generous scholarships will apply to airfares,
accommodation, and conference fees. The purpose of the Hewlett-Packard
Scholarships scheme is to make the DSpace User Group accessible to
worthy candidates who might not otherwise have been able to attend and
present their projects.
Applications should be sent to dspace2006 at apsr.edu.au
<mailto:dspace2006 at apsr.edu.au> by the 7th of December 2005. Successful
applicants will be informed by the 9th of December.
Further details are available from the Open Repositories 2006 website at
