[Dorms] Become an Orientation Leader or REX Chair

Dear Dorm Dwellers,

We're writing to tell you about two exciting opportunities to get involved
with REX and Orientation this summer:

** Want some additional information, or assistance signing up for either
position? Join us in the Student Center this Thursday evening, 2/16, for
some pizza: 6-7pm, W20-400. **

1. DormCon is working with the Academic Resource Center to recruit
orientation leaders for this coming August. Orientation leaders will receive
free early return housing from MIT in late August, and work flexible hours
between August 23rd and September 2nd to help the class of 2010 get familiar
with all that MIT has to offer. More information and an application is
available at http://web.mit.edu/orientation/oleader.html The deadline to
submit an application is next Wednesday, February 22nd at 5pm. 

2. DormCon is looking for a REX chairs. This person will be responsible for
the overall coordination of Residence Exploration events this summer.
Specific information on responsibilities is available at
http://web.mit.edu/dormcon/positions. Because this position requires a
significant amount of work over the summer, DormCon has worked with the
Dean's office to arrange free summer housing for the senior REX chair. If
you are interested in the position or would like more information, please
reply to this e-mail ASAP. An election will be held some time during the
week of February 27th.
