Symphony Orchestra) competition, the first double bassist ever
winner of the 2001 International Society of Bassists Solo Competition, the
youngest
artist ever
The Grand Prize of the American String Teachers Association National Solo
Competition.
Assistant Professor of Double Bass at the University of Texas at Austin.


Tomoko Kashiwagi, Piano

Staff pianist at University of Texas-Austin, the Interlochen Arts Camp,  and the
 Ithaca College Suzuki Institute.  Performed across the country and
internationally
with the double bass soloist DaXun Zhang at prestigious venues such as the 92nd
St. Y in New York, the Gardner Museum in Boston and the Kennedy Center in
Washington
D.C.
