[MIT CSSA Outreach] FW: Bridge to Asia - Company Liaisons for THURSDAY

Dear all,

 

The Bridge to Asia will be coming along with the MIT Career Fair on Thu. It
represents the first collective effort to bring Asian employers to MIT. 

 

We need people to volunteer as company liasons to cover both BTA and the big
career fair, booths #64-72 and #91-99 (see the attached floor plan, these
face each other). We will need to staff this area from 9AM until 6PM on
Thursday. You don't have to be there all the time, even 1 hour is good.
Company Liaisons closely assist company representatives during the Career
Fair. Patrol assigned aisles to check periodically with company reps whether
they have any needs or questions. And more importantly, to show them we are
wonderful host and how professional and well-organized our team are.

Hi All,

 

Hope you've all gotten settled in with classes and the new semester!
Exciting updates about Bridge to Asia -- five companies will be attending
this first year!

 

We need Bridge to Asia members to staff the Asia section of the Career Fair
(booths 99-96 for BTA, plus handling 64-72 and 91-99; see attached
floorplan) and serve as the company liaisons.  It is expected that everyone
make an effort to volunteer (even if it's only an hour) for time between 9am
to 6pm.  It's both a great chance to make contacts with the Asian companies
and make a good showing for Bridge to Asia.  There will also be volunteer
information and t-shirts (along with pizza) tonight.  See below.
