As you may have read or seen in the news recently, on Monday, May 12, at
2.28 p.m. Beijing time (6:28 GMT), a disastrous earthquake measuring 7.9 on
the Richter scale, jolted southwestern China's Sichuan Province. The quake
killed more than 68,000 people. As of Wednesday (5/28), nearly 20,000 were
still listed as missing. More than 85,000 victims were given medical
treatment, with more than 15,000 victims still hospitalized, according to
the Ministry of Health.

Joe Wong, the finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and I co-organized a
charity comedy fundraising event for the earthquake - Laugh for Relief which
will be tomorrow May 30th 8PM at Cambridge YMCA Theater, 820 Mass Ave,
Cambridge, MA. Luckily, we have gotten a lot of media attention from ABC
Channel 5, Fox News and NPR. Also, the event is the top pick for Boston
Magazine for this weekend:

journal, the Chinese newspaper, will run the story too. NECN has promised to
