[MIT CSSA Outreach] Immigration Seminar & One-on-One Evaluation

Dear CSSA Members of MIT:

To help our members to know updated USCIS policies and regulations so as to plan
your career earlier, CSSA is hosting an immigration seminar or presentation on
July 24th, 2008, Thursday, 6:00-9:00pm. Mr. Scott Warmuth and Mr. Mike Shi from
Law Offices of Scott Warmuth will be there with you to address the latest
immigration issues that concern the CSSA members the most. One-on-one case
evaluation after the seminar will be available.

The seminar will cover some hot and most related topics of your interest
including:

1.	The number of ways possible to immigrate to the United States, and their
basic requirements.
2.	The categories of employment-based immigration, their definitions,
requirements
1)	Requirements for the category of EB1-1: Alien of Extraordinary Ability
2)	Requirements for the category of EB1-2: Outstanding Researcher
3)	Requirements for the category of EB2: National Interest Waiver (NIW)
3.	What is RFE (Request of Evidence)?  Case studies on response to RFE

Any immigration questions including the following will be addressed if asked
during the seminar:

?	OPT (Optional Practical Training)
?	F-1 to H-1: When, how, etc.
?	J-1 visa: the 2-year foreign residence requirement
?	O-1: qualifications and who needs it, etc.
