In order to help them feel comfortable with the new environment as quickly as possible, CSSA will organize volunteers to participate in the reception work, of which picking up the new students from airport is a very important part. In the past years, most of us have benefited from previous volunteers, and now it's the right time to repay the benefit to our incoming students. If you are willing to become a great volunteer and give your hands to these new friends, please send email to welcomecssa at mit.edu right now because some students will come before August. Please include the following information: 1. Your name, department and contact information; 2. Your preferred time to pick up new students, i.e. "Morning, Afternoon or Night", and "July, August or September" (FYI: most students will arrive in the end of August and please inform the detailed dates when you are available on August); 3. Whether you have a car (For those who pick up new student with their own cars, CSSA will cover their gas fee and toll with $15); 4. Whether you can drive or rent a Zipcar. Your kindness will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, CSSA Executive Board -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
