Heralded as “one of the finest showcase of Beijing Opera in the U.S.” and a “must-see event for operamania”, the Beijing Opera Night is one of the principal presentations of the traditional Chinese art as well as its modern form in North America. Organized by the Boston Asian Culture Center (BACC), the show will be on stage:

Beijing Opera, or "Jingju" in Mandarin, has long been regarded as a "national gem" and a “cultural icon”. Asian Cultural Center initiated this show with the aim of fostering appreciation of China’s most renowned traditional performing art.

As part of the BACC “Cultural China” series, the Beijing Opera Night features the most outstanding artistic figures in China: Yangming Li, Yixuan Song, Jing Zhang, Yi Zhang, Jiandong Zhai, Baoxiu Zhao, to name but a few.

The Beijing Opera Night is a high-profile show of performing arts. All previous events of BACC “Cultural China” series were popular and nicely rated。
