There will be NO RAIN this weekend!!! :)...
Let's get out of Boston and visit the famous historic town of Salem for
Halloween!!! (Sunday, 10/30/05)
(Description of Salem and things to do below)
In order to enjoy a flexible schedule, we are organizing a carpool for
transportation. For those with cars, it'll be greatly appreciated if you
could offer a few free seats in your car.
CSSA will of course reimburse $10 (or more if necessary) for gas (it's a
drive of less than 30 min.)
Please email xuemin at mit.edu by Friday, 11:59pm if you are interested in
coming on this trip, and please indicate the following:
-Name
-Email, contact number
-# of people in your party
-# of seats Needed or Providing
-Please check your emails on Saturday for trip details.
This will be a fun as well as educational trip. We hope to see you on
Sunday! :)

Salem is one of the oldest towns in the US, and is famous (or infamous) for
the witch
trials that took place there in the late 17th century. There are many
museums there,
including the famous Peabody Essex Museum

and many others that teach about the witch trials. For the month of
October,
Salem is especially popular due to Halloween (10/31/05).

For the interested few, you can also get your fortunes read (on career,
money, and love... :))
