Dear all:

The anniversary for our National Day will be on Sept 25th (Sat). To
celebrate the 55th birthday of our great country, China, a National Flag
Raising Ceremony will be held on City Hall Plaza. Everyone is welcome to
be there and celebrate this great monent together. Please check the
details for the event below.

MIT CSSA members will organize a group, and start from Kendall Square T
station. If you plan to join us, please meet us there at 10am on Sat.

		National-Flag Raising Ceremony

A National-Flag Raising Ceremony is scheduled to celebrate the 55th
Birthday of the People's Republic of China. You and your family are
invited to join this big ceremony in Boston.

	Time: 10:30 AM, Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004
	Place: The Square of Boston City Hall
		Government Center, Boston, MA.

Chinese art performance is following the Ceremony. Please bring flags,
balloons, flowers, and banners of your groups to celebrate the National
Day of October 1. If there is any question, please contact Dr. Zhenya Zhu
at zhenya at erl.mit.edu.

DIRECTION
1. Take T: at the Government Center Station of green line.
2. Parking: On streets or the Haymarket 5-floor parking lot. The lot
entrance is on Sudbury St. (Cross street is Congress St.) About 10 min.
walking distance from the lot to the City Hall. When you get a stamp in
any stories around Haymarket (For example: Adams Travel cross the parking
lot), the parking rate is $1 for 1-2 hours and $3 for 3 hours.
