Subject: [CSBi-HPC] cluster shutdown reminder

Reminder - the cluster will be down this weekend

Due to the NE47 building wide electrical power outage this coming weekend, I'll 
be shutting the IBM cluster and storage off on Friday evening, sometime after 6. 
  I'll turn it back on Sunday afternoon.  Please plan accordingly.

Subject: [CSBi-HPC] CSBI HPC cluster status

The Whitehead half of the CSBi IBM cluster in suffered a hardware failure on the 
system controller when I started it back up yesterday which means I can't reboot 
the system until I get it fixed.  I expect to get this resolved soon and if it's 
the only problem, the cluster should be back up and running later today.

the CSBi IBM cluster (Whitehead half) is back up after resolving a couple more 
minor problems.

ok to login and submit jobs.
