Subject: [CSBi-HPC] Is the IBM cluster down !?

I am trying to login to the  IBM cluster  today, but I get the message 
that it is unreachable.
Is it down?. Can any one log into it or it is a problem.only on my side.

Yep, it appears to be down..at least I can't login to the WI cluster,
which is unusual.

The CSAIL nodes are up and I can reach the WH nodes from there.  Looks like
the WH files server  'biosimhome' might be off line which could cause
problems, but that's hard for me to tell from here.

Hmm.. I was able to login and get the loadleveler status. Where is the IP
address your coming from?

Subject: [CSBi-HPC] ibm cluster access restored

There was a building wide power outage in B24 which had took down the network 
connection between Whitehead and NE47 where our half of the cluster is.

The power has just been restored, so you should be able to get in to the login 
node again.

We're working on a reconfiguration of the network to avoid this problem in the 
future.
