Okay to bring your research in as a class project. Best Professor Alan Edelman MIT From jgevans at wi.mit.edu Thu Jan 29 18:53:48 2004 From: jgevans at wi.mit.edu (James G. Evans) Date: Thu, 29 Jan 2004 15:53:48 -0800 Subject: [CSBi-HPC] CSBi HPC p655 cluster downtime Message-ID: <000c01c3e6c3$26b679d0$c0f2838e@ahola> Hi We are planning to integrate both halves of the p655 cluster sometime in February or March. The plan is that this will not cause any downtime as the WI half of the cluster will remain operational. However, the CSAIL nodes will not be accessible during the physical relocation of that half of the cluster from 200 Tech Sq to 500 Tech Sq. We anticipate only 1 day to move but want to poll the users to see if there are any dates that we should avoid? Obviously we would not want to interfere with any grants, conferences, theses etc deadlines. Please let me know if there any conflicts as soon as possible.
