MIT has just approved a new master's degree program in Computation for
Design and Optimization (CDO) that may be of interest to many of you.

The CDO program aims to educate graduate students in the formulation,
analysis, and implementation of computational approaches to
understanding, predicting, designing, controlling, and optimizing
complex systems. If you are interested in computational aspects of
problems in engineering, science, and/or related disciplines, you
might want to consider pursuing a master's degree in CDO, either as a
stand-alone degree or in parallel with your other graduate studies.
For more information on the CDO Program, visit the new CDO website:

Finally, our apologies for using a mass e-mail to make this announcement, but
the application deadline is only three weeks away (January 21st) and
we needed to get this information out quickly.
