Dear Colleagues,
We’d like to invite you to OEIT's next Crosstalk event where Toru
Iiyoshi of the Carnegie Foundation will be talking about:
“Finding Grist and Inspiration for your Next Pedagogical Innovation”
With the semester drawing to a close, it is an ideal time to reflect
upon the past 14 weeks: to consider challenges met as well as new ones
which have emerged. Rethinking one’s teaching process can be rewarding
and valuable, but where does one find ideas and resources for this
endeavor? And how do you share that experience with departmental and
institutional colleagues and beyond so they can learn from and build
on your scholarly work?
Toru’s work with the Knowledge Media Lab and the Teaching & Learning
Commons reflects a decade of research focused on promoting collective
educational knowledge building and sharing.
Please join us Wednesday, May 28 from 2:30–3:30 in the TEAL
classroom , Rm 26-152 as Toru outlines the resources and tools that
are available through the KML and engages us in a discussion of
communities of practice.
Crosstalk is a forum to share ideas and experiences on technology,
teaching, and learning.
Once again:
What: Crosstalk - "Finding Grist and Inspiration for your Next
Pedagogical Innovation"
Where: 26-152 (TEAL Classroom)
When: May 28 (Wednesday) @ 2:30 pm
Regards,
Molly Ruggles
