Please accept my apologies for the onslaught of MITREX2 e-mails you have
received.  We are re-launching the newest version of the MIT Real Estate
Exchange (MITREX), a version that uses technology in new and improved ways.
Unfortunately, on the road to alerting you to this new tool, technology led
to you inadvertently being "spammed".    The message we were trying to send
is reproduced below.  In short, MITREX 2.0 has job listings, a knowledge
library, improved sorting capabilities, and heightened networking
functionality.  We hope you will give it a try.   To log on to MITREX 2.0
use your e-mail address as your log on and password.  Upon logging on,
immediately change your password to something more secure!  

With the release this month of MITREX 2.0, the MIT Real Estate Exchange
brings you powerful new functionalities and a streamlined interface. If you
haven't seen MITREX lately, you haven't seen MITREX.  Give it a try.

MITREX just got better than ever! With the release this month of MITREX 2.0,
the MIT Real Estate Exchange brings you powerful new functionalities and a
streamlined interface - a feature-rich online environment for exploring real
estate theory and practice, contributing to the online library, and for
networking with MIT/CRE's growing community. 

NEW LOGIN INFORMATION
Please note, user passwords were reset in the process of migrating from
MITREX-1 to MITREX-2.   Please log into MITREX using your e-mail address as
your login.  Once logged in, click on "My Profile" and then "Edit My
Personal Information" to change your password into something more secure. 

New Functionalities
Both a comprehensive knowledge base and a secure networking environment,
MITREX 2.0 now brings a robust new suite of features: 

*	Career development. Members can find and post job listings, resumes,
and professional updates. 

*	Knowledge library. Resources have greatly expanded, with the number
of information classes more than tripling. 

*	Advanced sort and search. New data search tools let members sort
levels and sublevels of information using a variety of parameters. 

*	Networking. MITREX facilitates contact between consenting members,
while ensuring each member's desired level of privacy 

*	Enhanced navigation. New icons and streamlined Nav features bring
fast access to property types, regions, topics, and resources. 

*	Homepage & layout. Each member's homepage compiles the most recent
and popular job listings, links, and documents. 

Update Your Profile
With the new resources that MITREX 2.0 brings, your personal profile may be
due for an update. Visit MITREX to renew your profile, and take advantage of
all that the new MITREX offers. 

Contribute to MITREX
The MITREX knowledge base is built by its members. You are free to post any
content that adds value to a wide-ranging real estate library. For example,
your contributions could include: 

*	Pictures of an ongoing project 

*	Favorite URLs 

*	Recommended articles or books 

*	PowerPoint presentations 

*	Research theses
