HOUSE IN A BOX -- Luis Canizo, CRE '05, 50K Finalist

Built for $1,000 - $1,500, Semi-Permanent Dwellings Could Shelter Homeless
People Within Days of a Natural Disaster 

All that Luis Canizo needs, metaphorically speaking, is a fulcrum. Canizo
doesn't propose to move the world. Still, his "lever" - a remarkable
invention he calls House in a Box (HAB) - offers a means to house some of
its most desperately poor citizens, people who have been displaced by
natural disasters. All he needs is a financial fulcrum. He already has the
one natural resource required for HAB. In fact, it's something all nations

CALLING ALL EUROPE-BASED ALUMS!

Do you work with or have an interest in European Real Estate?  A network of
Europe-based alumni/ae has formed, and their goal is to cultivate, develop
and expand the real estate network.  If you are interested in joining the

SAVE THE DATE! - Deadline for MSRED Applications 2/15/2006

Applications are due February 15, 2006.  If you know someone who would be a
good candidate for the MSRED program, send him or her our way.  We are more
than happy to answer questions and introduce prospective applicants to
students and other graduates.
