Crime Alert to MIT Community
Issued: December 13, 2006


MIT Police received a report of a "Peeping Tom", on Tuesday, December 
12, 2006; at approximately 9:57 a.m. The MIT Police responded to the 
building 16 regarding a male in the first floor women's room. While 
talking to the victim, the police were advised of a male seen exiting 
the third floor women's room 22 minutes earlier.

SUSPECT:
The suspect is described by the victim as follows: male, olive skin, 
short cropped hair, almost bald. The second description of a male seen 
exiting the third floor womens room is as follows: male, white, 5'5", 
170/180 pounds, well built, gold earing in left ear, with a baseball hat 
worn backwards, long sleeve light blue shirt, and jeans.

REPORTED INCIDENT:
The victim reported seeing the male looking over the stall at her. There 
is no victim in the second description (third floor incident).

SUGGESTIONS:
All members of the MIT community are asked to be alert and report 
suspicious activity immediately by calling the MIT Police at 100 from 
any Institute telephone or 3-1212.
