Dear Colleagues,



Happy September! Sending a friendly reminder that the 2027 Image Awards competition is OPEN.



Submissions should be sent with image(s) and the accompanying image information via our electronic form https://mit-ki.org/ki-image-award-form-2026 - the deadline for submission is Friday, October 9th, 2026.



All MIT students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate, and each contributor may submit up to five high-resolution images taken as part of their original MIT research. We are honored to have the opportunity to recognize and publicly display the extraordinary visuals produced by life sciences and biomedical research at MIT.



Winning images will appear in the 2027 Image Awards exhibition, opening in March 2027 with lightning talks given by the image creators.
