Subject: Deadline extended: May 15! Nominate your favorite MIT science teacher for the school’s teaching prize

Dear students,

It’s national teacher appreciation week! During this busy time of year, we ask that you take a moment to nominate outstanding science professors or instructors for their excellence in undergraduate or graduate teaching.

Each year, faculty members and instructors at the MIT School of Science receive prizes<https://science.mit.edu/about/awards/faculty-awards/science-teaching-prizes/> for excellence in teaching. The Science Dean’s office is accepting nominations<https://science.mit.edu/about/awards/faculty-awards/science-teaching-prizes/> for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years by Monday, May 15, 2023.

See past winners and learn more at: https://science.mit.edu/teaching

For additional questions about the program, please email Megan Lewis (mblewis at mit.edu<mailto:mblewis at mit.edu>) in the MIT School of Science Dean’s Office.
