Subject: Call for 2022 Astronaut Scholarship Nominations
Date: January 25, 2022 at 9:20:06 PM EST

I am pleased to circulate this year’s call for nominations for Astronaut Scholarship nominations.
Please circulate this to your faculty and request that they nominate top students to apply. It is OK to let students know about this as well. Students must be nominated by faculty, but it is OK for interested students to ask a faculty member to nominate them.

Astronaut Scholarships provide $15,000/year on a need-blind basis.

Please have all application material sent to me by Friday 4 March. Selection is by a two-step process, with notifications in late March for Phase 1 and late May for the final selection.

The selection criteria and application requirements are as follows:

Best wishes,
Jeff Hoffman
