January 7th, 14th and 21st: Developing a Listening Practice
Presented by DEI officers in Chemistry, EAPs and Biology.
Did you know listening can help build relationships with yourself and others, and even save lives? How about helping in your academic journey? We often hear about talking and debate, but not the other part of successful communication – how to listen. Join us in learning about listening and how to develop a listening practice to benefit all aspects of your life, from personal to academic. We’ll discuss what a listening practice is, the impact of Zoom on listening, and through in-session exercises help you discover ways to be a better listener and its benefits.
