Hello -
On behalf of SUBE, the Society of Underrepresented Biologists and Biological Engineers, I would like to invite you to join us for an afternoon of fellowship and community building on Saturday, April 30 starting at 12pm.
For those who are new to the community or just hearing about SUBE for the first time, SUBE was founded in the summer 2020 with the goal of empowering underrepresented minority (URM) students in the biological and bioengineering departments at MIT by furthering their academic, social, and professional prospects and cultivating a community where diversity and inclusion are necessary and appreciated. As the pandemic wanes and restrictions become favorable for social gatherings, we would love to bring the graduate and undergraduate communities together for a small retreat. We hope that you are able to join us for this event and help shape what will eventually become a yearly off-campus retreat.
